Parents - Uniforms

The School Council of Pinjarra Primary School has established a dress code for all students attending the school. It is a condition of enrolment that all students adhere to this policy.

Dress Code
Students are to wear:

• The school polo shirt or a plain maroon polo or t-shirt.
• The school jacket or jumper or a plain maroon jumper. Windcheaters and pullovers with motifs are not permitted.
• Black skirts, shorts or trousers, or the school dress. Short shorts and short skirts are not appropriate for school activities. Black leggings, tights and skins may be worn under school skirts or shorts but not by themselves.
• Sandals with ankle and heel straps or shoes or joggers. Thongs are not permitted due to health and safety issues.
• A wide brim or bucket hat during sports and play. School/faction bucket hats are available from the Uniform shop.

Please note:

• Students must keep jewellery to a minimum. Ring and stud jewellery can only be worn where it doesn’t constitute a health and safety risk as defined by the school.
• Denim clothing (jeans, shorts, skirts or jackets) is not permitted.
• Make-up, including lip gloss and nail polish, is not to be worn.
• Undergarments are not to be visible.
• High school clothing is not to be worn in place of the Primary School uniform.

However, please note that caps, black jumpers and hoodies are not part of our uniform.
Dress Code clothing items are available from the School Uniform shop or clothing department stores like Target, Best and Less, and Kmart.

Uniform Shop
Pinjarra Primary School Uniform Shop is operated by volunteers of the school’s P&C. During school terms, the shop is open on Monday 8.30am-9.00am and Friday 2.30pm-3.00pm EFTPOS ONLY on Friday's!
Please note: If you are unable to make it during our opening hours, please complete the Uniform Order Form and hand in at the School Reception. Once orders are paid in full they will be delivered to your child's classroom as soon as stock is available.
January opening hours prior to the commencement of Term 1 are notified in Term 4 of each school year. Please check Spacetalk notifications or with the school Administration Staff.

Payment Methods
Payment is by Cash, Tap and Go or Direct Deposit. No cash accepted Friday's.
